This discourse around this is nothing short of exhausting. Yes, it’s frustrating, but why are we shocked that the World Cup is taking place around the world?
No World Cup games during the daytime on a weekend is actually madness

These ‘’hydration breaks’’ are crap aren’t they? Couldn’t have made it any less obvious that it’s to divide the game into yank quarters.

Can’t fault London for taking advantage but my word what an awful look for the sport this is.

What an absolute disgrace this by TNT. Know full well they’re losing their rights in 2027 so they decide to issue one final fuck you to viewers. Can’t wait until time is called on their viewership rights, they’ve ruined the Champions League viewing experience in this country.
Champions League final will not be free to watch in UK for first time in competition’s history. Rights holders TNT Sport have also scrapped free streams of Europa and Conference finals despite misgivings from UEFA. | The Guardian theguardian.com/football/202…

A gutting and in many ways humbling result for St Helens yesterday. To lose like that in a game of this magnitude will leave a sour taste in the mouth of fans. An injury to Matty Lees and the opening Wigan try set the tone for the rest of the game. Saints never at the races.

That’s just grim.
Here is the make up of St Helens Borough Council following today's election count. Reform have overall control of the council.

Comedian and Hull KR fan Amy Gledhill joined the coverage at half-time and poked some fun at pundit Jon Wilkin 🤣

Cost of sacking Liam Rosenior: £24m Cost of buying Sheffield Wednesday: £20m When sacking a manager costs more than a club in the Championship, it's probably time to start addressing those financial oblivion questions in football.

Gets me every time this
“And the sun shines now.” The moving BBC radio commentary on the Hillsborough Disaster by Peter Jones. He never recovered from the trauma of Hillsborough. On 31 March 1990 he had a stroke during University Boat Race and died 36 hours later (aged 60).

They are not just 97 people. They are not just the 97. They are mates, dads and lads, couples, parents, sons and daughters. They are people, loved and cherished. Every one of the 97 people who died at Hillsborough has a story. Never Forgotten.
