Today, I’m heading home from my first #WWDC. It was so nice to meet a few lovely people in person for the first time, people I’ve known online for years. Maybe see you next year, but hopefully with a golden ticket this time.

My biggest wish for #WWDC26: an OS where my MacBook’s speakers don’t occasionally make loud crackling and popping noises when I’m listening to music and clicking something on the screen. I’ve had this issue since my M1 MBP, and it’s still happening on my M5 MBP.

This new app is actually insane. Gives you insights into the full stack of data points Apple provides to developers via AppStoreConnect APIs. I didn’t even know there was data on haptic engine usage, widget usage, safari extension usage… Gives you some nice insights which native iOS features of your app users actually use – without having to roll out your own analytics.

You can quickly get started with many pre defined stats. This includes stats you are already familiar with from App Store Connect, but also many new ones you might not have known were possible. I will regularly add new ones, so expect the collection to grow.

My first batch of 3D-printed app icons is done, and I’ll be giving them away at #WWDC. All of them have NFC tags inside with special discounts. I won’t password-lock them, so they can be repurposed later. I messed up the print quality a bit, though :(
