ALT An illustration of a Georgian manor house in the mid- background. An ominous black cloud directly above the house. A tree lined avenue on the far right of the illustration. A central pathway leading down from the property with figures along the route including a male figure in the middle of the pathway pushing a wheelbarrow. Two female figures -adult and child- to the left of this figure looking on at the workman. A large tree to their left.

ALT Hand drawn illustration - an angelic figure in the top foreground holding a large scroll descending some distance to ground level - text at the top of the scroll reads – Bordesley & Deritend adjoining Birmingham. Belove this, a list of merchants and proprietors. At the bottom of the scroll, pieces of manufactory including a barrel, wicker baskets and urns. Behind the scroll is the frontage of a large building. A church bell tower in the back right of the drawing.
Yesterday, some of the Small Performances team had a trip to Oxford University Press museum to have a look at Baskerville's Greek punches and matrices. Thanks to OUP for allowing us to rummage through your precious Victorian type cabinet.
