This is a massive contribution to the global body of evidence on basic income. But more importantly #basicincome making an impact right here in the UK.

Not quite yet, but for ALL care leavers in Wales there has been, since mid-2023. And the first feedback is encouraging to say the least. Autonomy; agency; the option to to think if a future where you’re not just shoved about by a system. #BasicIncome!

This is kind of the crux of the issue and one of the strongest arguments for #BasicIncome. If you have property you can monetise it or live on it/off it. If you don’t you can only sell your Labour in a rigged market.
