Final Fall BME Seminar Series today- Dr. Christopher Puleo, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute: 'Therapeutic Ultrasound Neuromodulation of Peripheral Nerves' Original Development at a Corporate Research Site and The Need for Further Insight into Its Basic Science and Mechanisms.

Today's seminar featured our very own alum, Dr. Alexander Podgorsak, for his presentation "Use of Synthetic MRI in Radiation Therapy." Currently, he is a clinical Medical Physicist and Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at the Wilmont Cancer Institute in Rochester, NY.

Our seminar last week featured Dr. Nanyin Zhang from Pennsylvania State University - "Study Brain Network Function Using a Systematic, Multi-Modal Approach". His lab integrates neuroimaging, electrophysiology, optogenetics, chemogenetics, and behavioral methods in rodent models.
