For the first time ever, the Times Higher Education World Academic Summit will take place in Africa, co-hosted by the University of Cape Town and University of Bristol.
From 29 September to 1 October 2026, global leaders in higher education, research, government and industry will gather to explore how universities can respond to some of the most pressing challenges of our time – from AI and innovation to justice, collaboration and the future of knowledge.
With 100 speakers and 70 hours of discussion, the summit will showcase how Africa is shaping solutions for a rapidly changing world.
