I’ve landed ZERO brand deals from cold emailing or cold DM’ing brands. I know I can do better with outbounds, but when you have a 9-5, a spouse, children, and a whole life outside of UGC, finding the time is nearly impossible. So I rely heavily on setting myself up on social media and platforms that work for me. NUMBER ONE - FIVERR I got set up on Fiverr and although it took a while and doing a lot of low-paying deals to get reviews. It was worth it. I get consistent inbounds and close deals weekly. This month I cleared over $4k in Fiverr UGC deals alone. NUMBER TWO - TWITTER/X Every time I receive an email inquiring about creating UGC, the first thing I do is thank them for their inquiry and the second thing I do is ask them how they found me. All but 2 so far have stated that they found me on Twitter. I post my work from Fiverr on Twitter consistently using #ugccommunity on each UGC video post. And using this hashtag is important because several brands that I’ve worked with have shared with me that they use that hashtag to find creators. Some stated that’s how they found me!
