Today a member of the DMSR and our CQC colleagues are in Nepal working with the Medical Centre teams in Pokhara and Katmandu! Together, they are promoting standards and best practice in medical care wherever UK Service Personnel are!

Also at the PMRAFNS conference, we heard from the 'Atlantic Rocks' 4 RAF Regiment Gunners who rowed a gruelling and challenging 3200 miles from Lanzarote to Antigua. We learned how they developed their resilience and used teamwork to succeed in their mission. Truly outstanding.

A fantastic 2 days at the PMRAFNS nursing conference with over 200 hundred RAF Nurses in attendance. A wonderful opportunity to reconnect with colleagues. Fantastic presentation from Para Nordic Champion veteran Scott Meenah, who gave insights to his truly inspirational story.

Suicide prevention depends on a supportive environment . When behaviours change; if colleagues seem withdrawn, and alter the way they plan- its right to ask how they are, or if they've had suicidal thoughts. Sometimes we need 'permission' to talk - listening can save lives.

It was my privilege to lead the tributes to Sqn Ldr Sherry McBain ARRC PMRAFNS, who we dined out of Service, after 27 years, on Saturday evening. Over 100 people attended to show their admiration of Sherry, an exemplary nurse, an excellent leader, and the best of Friends.
