Israel is the most popular destination for a funded MP trip. One in nine of all funded MP trips was paid for by an Israel-linked organisation. Since the Electoral Commission began recording in 2001, it has logged ~2,877 funded trips taken by MPs. These are visits paid for by outside organisations — foreign governments and advocacy groups. Israel tops the table at 235 trips, plus another 101 delegations covering both Israel and the Palestinian territories. China is second at 144.

Greater Manchester is tendering a £166m electric vehicle charging contract. The company that already runs the region's public charging network, Be.EV has Andy Burnham's wife as a director and also a shareholder of the parent company, Iduna Infrastructure Burnham hasn't declared her shares

She holds well over 1% of three share classes in the company behind Be.EV, which operates across Greater Manchester. That should meet the test for declaration under the 'securities' heading, so why does the Mayor's register record it as 'None'?

None of this is proof of wrongdoing. They're fair questions with simple answers. Was Mrs van Heel's shareholding in Iduna Infrastructure assessed under the securities heading of the Mayor's register, and on what basis was a 16 to 64 percent holding across three share classes recorded as None
