The National Homebrew Competition 2025 will be held on Saturday February 22nd at Wiper & True Taproom Old Market, Bristol! Registrations will be up and running from Tuesday morning this week we will post another reminder as soon as it is live. Headline sponsor TBA shortly!

All the UK medal winners also have some merch from Muntons Homebrew included with your medals. Depending what you won, it will be a beanie hat or some socks. All the medals have been packed .... 1/2

and the UK ones should be collected tomorrow. I'll pop the international ones round the post office tomorrow as well. So keep an eye out in a few days for a grey baggy for UK winners or red one for international medals 2/2

Now, all the major cleanup is done, and the last of the glasses are washed, crates and buckets all collected from the brewery, rinsed and dried. I'll start on getting the medals all packaged up and see if I can get them mailed out. Hopefully, this week.

Our best-of-show prize this year was sponsored by @MuntonsPlc , a whopping £500 voucher for the winner's choice of online brewing supplier. Charles has let me know his choice, and there is a £500 @themaltmiller gift voucher winging its way over to Charles Read!

Over 600 bottles of beer crated and boxed up ready for the fight to be named best homebrewed beer in the UK National 2024. Judging starts at 9:30 with the results hopefully being announced on a live stream around 6PM. ... 1/2

Here's the state of play with one day left in the shipping window. 20 entries that were not paid for 95 entries paid but not received yet 295 entries paid and received 71.3% of all entries are already sorted ....

My estimate is that we will end up at around 85% turnout or 340/400 entries with the other 60 entries being unpaid or not received.
