We are really excited to be back at @TheRoyalLatin, doing a talk in their discovery building! It’s special to us as we were presented with an extraordinary person award a couple of years ago, so it’s great to be giving something back & helping inspire others to look up in wonder.
Lots asking about this! It’s the 2nd stage deorbit burn from the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.
Captured by UK Astronomy member Ben Dyke on the Oxon/Bucks border.
Amazing shot!
Hi @VW we’re a small charity and our van has only done 8,000 miles but we’re now facing major injector/fuel system failure. This could cost £10k . We need help and answers. Can someone from VW get in touch? #Volkswagen#CharitySupport#VW@VWUKPress@VWGroup
Today, UK Astronomy took young space explorers on a cosmic journey from the fiery Sun to Saturn’s icy rings - all inside their school hall!
Space is for everyone, and inspiring young minds to look up, be curious & dream big is why we love this.

What a night at @StoweHouse .
Crystal-clear skies meant we rolled out the big 16” Dobsonian for deep-sky views. Over 70 guests spotted planets, nebulae & more - amazing to see them get hands-on!
Huge thanks to our epic volunteers.
See you in October… clear skies! 🔭✨
