Last week, the GOP stopped their mail-in voting program. The consequences of this will be interesting to see in light of our finding from 2020 that voters, especially germ averse ones, prefer this method (regardless of partisanship). news.umich.edu/germ-aversion…

As expected, liberal voters say they preferred distanced voting more than conservatives (but this did translate into actual voting method). Interestingly, the effects of germ aversion were stronger than those for partisanship.
