This weekend, during a ceremony held at Camp General Štefánik, #UNFICYP marked 25 years of #Slovak 🇸🇰 commitment to peace in #Cyprus. From engineers to military observers, our personnel have upheld the @UN’ mission: preventing tensions and maintaining peace on the island. The unit is responsible for patrolling and monitoring activity across over 65 kilometers along the #bufferzone, from the east end of Kaimakli village to the village of Dherinia on the island’s east coast. #A4P

Earlier this week, the Technical Committee on Youth concluded its two-day visit to Brussels under the auspices of the United Nations and with the support of the European Union. During the visit, members met with High Representative/Vice-President, Kaja Kallas, and the @UN Secretary-General’s Personal Envoy on #Cyprus, María Ángela Holguín.
