The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry organised a business delegation to Astana, on the sidelines of the first official visit of the President of the Republic of Cyprus to Kazakhstan.
The delegation participated in the Kazakhstan–Cyprus Business Forum, a landmark event aimed at strengthening economic and business relations between the two countries.
A key milestone was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the CCCI and the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, marking an important step towards closer collaboration between the two business communities.

He noted that its true success will be measured by the contacts established between companies, the partnerships developed, and the business opportunities that follow.

@Christodulides , and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Olzhas Bektenov, reaffirmed the shared commitment to deepen bilateral economic cooperation and create new opportunities for trade, investment, and connectivity.
The Forum also featured contributions from government officials, business leaders, and key organisations from both countries, including the Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy of Cyprus Dr. Damianou
@NicDamianou , the President of the Cyprus–Kazakhstan Business Association Mr. Markides, and representatives from KazCIC, Kazakh Invest, Air Astana, QazTrade, the Astana International Financial Centre, and Astana Hub.
The Forum highlighted strong potential for cooperation in investment, technology, energy, agriculture, logistics, shipping, the digital economy, and innovation, and concluded with B2B meetings and networking between Cypriot and Kazakhstani companies.
The CCCI looks forward to continuing its close cooperation with its Kazakh partners and supporting long-term, mutually beneficial business partnerships.
