The future of connectivity is being decided right now – and our member providers are leading the work to shape it. At today’s American Connectivity Forum, broadband leaders whose companies collectively connect more than 2 million customers in more than 30 states to fast, reliable broadband internet discussed the unique footprint of their communities, why permitting is the number one delay in getting broadband to more people, and what excites them the most about the future of connectivity. Their stories reinforced the critical role the broadband providers play in driving innovation and economic growth in America. We are grateful for the collaboration, passion, and commitment of our members – and have our eyes on the future as we build a more connected America.

Turning dirt to build internet infrastructure shouldn’t be this hard. That was the focus of a fireside chat with @FCC Chairman @BrendanCarrFCC where he spoke about the FCC’s work on regulations for permitting reform, among other topics. The FCC is focused on reviews that will ease gratuitous regulations.
