A friend once mistakenly recharged ₦20,000 instead of ₦2,000 on his MTN line. He had to start calling friends to sell off the excess airtime to recover some cash.
That got me thinking: what if users could simply reverse such errors directly from the MTN app?

I redesigned the interface with a “Reverse Last Recharge” feature that lets users undo erroneous top‑ups within 60 minutes (as long as only less than 10 % of the airtime used). It’s a simple idea, but it could save a lot of people from losing money over a single tap. 💡
