Ajayi powered to victory in a strong performance, claiming the collegiate crown and underlining his status as one of the brightest sprint talents emerging from Nigeria.

NCAA CHAMPION!!!
Chinecherem Prosper Nnamdi 🇳🇬 has just become the first Nigerian man to win a NCAA Javelin title, sending his implement out to a big first round throw of 82.26m!
He wins the NCAA Championships in Eugene ahead of Keyshawn Strachan who reached a best of 80.65m and Jack Larriviere with 77.91m.
Both of Nnamdi's two throws over 80 metres were good enough for the win.
