IMO it just entered an area that is way more egregious and can't be just "art" anymore. Kanye having political connections and being such a polarizing figure in a country that was way more affected by Nazi Germany may have the situation leaning into a public safety concern
Banning an artist from entering an entire COUNTRY sets a serious precedent that I’m not sure I like. Cancelling a festival is understandable but a full entry ban, especially from a country like the UK?
Where is the line and what does a decision like this mean for other artists?
