Best job ever- sharing my love of books with my students and helping them navigate the research process. BA Dickinson College, MSEd University of Pennsylvania
I have had the pleasure of watching one of our amazing ninth graders leave her creative mark on @CBUnamiMS . So glad this is right outside my library doors so I can enjoy it for years!!!
Library transformation into a Civil Rights Museum. @umsfreshmen in American History researched significant events, people, movements, court cases, & legislation from the US founding until today and created an exhibit. Today's gallery walk allowed them to learn from each other.
March has been busy in the @CBUnamiMS library. We are celebrating Women's History Month (with a special focus on women's contributions to STEM), Ramadan, St. Patrick's Day, & March Madness. Don't forget during spring break, ebooks/audiobooks are available via @Sorareadingapp
February has been busy at the @CBUnamiMS library. Our 7th graders learned about using databases and @noodletools to guide their research, we have been busy promoting Black History Month, Lunar New Year and other winter wonders, & had fun playing matchmaker #blinddatewithabook.
It's snowing❄️ @CBUnamiMS students - does snow make you want to grab a cup of hot chocolate and watch holiday movies? Grab a "Hollymark" book instead.😉 Whether you celebrate Hanukkah, Christmas, or just ❤️ the magic of the season- we have a book for you☃️🕎🎄🕯
Thank you @Z_Brarian for the inspiration. This was a fun way to dig into the library stats and get the students involved in making predictions for next year.
( @AlanGratz bks are always at the top of my students' reading list both in print and through Sora.)

Awesome day celebrating a year of writing in Mrs. @CatieFrederick, Mrs. Wingerter, and Ms. Frabizio's 7th grade English classes today. Students were encouraged to leave "Glow Up" compliments as they read their peers self-selected writing.
