ALT PROJECT UPDATE: Construction is underway at Uniland’s Port Manatee Logistics Center in Palmetto, Florida, and the Tampa Bay Business Journal has the story. The 345,960 SF Class A industrial project will feature three tilt‑wall buildings designed for flexibility, with spaces ranging from 7,500 SF to 187,200 SF. It offers seamless access to SeaPort Manatee—one of Florida’s largest and fastest-growing deepwater seaports—as well as to US-41, Interstate 75, and Interstate 275. As Jacob Montante, Uniland’s Senior Real Estate Investment Manager, notes, “We love the proximity to the port and to I-275 and I-75. It is the perfect site for regional distribution and to provide service to the port. There is a huge need from the port for new Class A warehouse spaces, and there hasn’t really been anything built recently on spec or with the ability to accommodate both current and future users.”

ALT Uniland has finalized the land sale with the City of Buffalo toward the development of a new Department of Public Works (DPW) Campus & Resiliency Center in a public-private partnership with support from New York State. As Uniland CEO Michael Montante notes, “This project represents a significant step forward in strengthening Buffalo’s infrastructure and enhancing essential services for Buffalo residents. Securing nearly 60 acres of land for new development within city limits is an achievement virtually unheard of, and it reflects the strategic vision and persistence of our team.”
