Absolutely gutted to have lost our friend Dennis, who was our branch chair and first branch sec. He started our branch, and we will never fill his place. Thank you for everything Dennis. Love from us all and we miss you X

Crooked House was a 400 year old Grade II listed building. First the access road was blocked by a huge pile of dirt placed by Bulldozers. Then it ‘mysteriously’ set on fire. Finally the remnants were bulldozed. All so they can build some flats.

Just watching Rebecca Adlington on @SkyNews .100’s of Swimming pools closing due to energy bills for pools going from 125k to 350k. What a scandal! I remember going to Bury Leisure Centre to learn to swim.Youngsters can’t swim in future but Energy co’s make billions more profit!

The Tories shut 23,000 NHS beds. Now Rishi Sunak announces 5,000 new beds. That’s a real time Tory deficit of 18,000 much needed hospital beds. They are killing the NHS to justify accelerating privatisation.

💯 we support the teachers and all workers striking to protect their jobs and conditions, and to earn a living wage
Teachers are going on strike tomorrow and it's going to mean hassle for lots of working parents. Do you support the Teacher's strikes?

The CEO of Royal Mail squirming like a bad politician. Excellent questioning reveals that his massive bonus depends directly on putting money in the pockets of shareholders, rather than running a good service for the public.

Lovely thanks. But there's currently a massive open goal here for you - start providing some audible and visible opposition to the collapse of the NHS. Hold the Govt to account. Challenge them on it. Your current silence is complicit, and people are noticing.
2023 is a new chapter for our country. This year, my Labour Party will set out the case for change and the case for a new Britain. Today, we look to the future with that hope together. Happy New Year to you and your family, from me and mine.

Gas price is the lowest for nearly a year, but our bills are up. Ofgem just hiked cap from £3549 to £4279 i.e. Govt will on average pay £1779 (£4279 less £2500) per household to energy companies. Rip-off profiteering. Ofgem isn't protecting customers. standard.co.uk/business/gas-…

This is why facing the Nakba of 1948 is so important. It's why denying it--or blaming Palestinians for their own dispossession--is so dangerous. Because the Nakba did not end. It continues, with the assistance of the government of the United States. jewishcurrents.org/teshuvah-…

Israel just said they'll evict our 14 villages in Masafer Yatta, kicking 1,000 people, most of them children, from their homes - in "short time". The ethnic cleansing of my community, Masafer Yatta, is one of the first moves Israel's new far right government is making. URGENT
