And with LCQ done that’s my season over for Unite casting, worlds is going to be incredible!
To be truthful I was debating stepping back from casting Unite this season, for me the ultimate goal is to be an official caster but the opportunities seem nonexistent for me so I felt I needed to concentrate on Marvel Rivals where I have had success. Having said that, I’m incredibly glad I decided to give it a go, I decided if I was going to do it then I am going to give it my all this season and make sure I cast everything that EU has to offer.
A HUGE shoutout to
@Ketchum09S and
@UnityClashPU for getting in touch and running it back with me for EUL M, being the host and main caster for EUL has been so incredibly satisfying and to see the EU teams we have covered all season long do as well as they have this year fills me with immense pride. 3 Top 4 teams had played on EUL in some way. EUL isn’t done so keep your eyes peeled.
Another shoutout to
@INGAGEGG for an amazing boot camp I got to be involved with before EUIC as well as all their coverage for the UCS EU league. I got to meet, interview and watch the teams grind out practice and scrims. It was inspiring to see how much each team appreciated each other and the sportsmanship on show.
From hosting EUL, casting every single EU Offline League match, No Hype League, Last Hit League, Destroy Shadows League, Fight Club Inhouses and of course my own tournament Project Fearless, co created and co casted by my amazing duo
@Lobo_Life
Also to the many multi-regional tournaments we casted this season, it has been a pleasure to see EU step up and put in the work this year.
And jeeze does it show, EU finally won EUIC since it became multi regional, it then went on to perform in multi regional tournaments like MQLs Springbeat where they managed to finally be victors over NA. This season has been extremely competitive for my region and the work the teams and grassroots scene has done is to be commended for that.
My wish is for next season, Pokemon provide more official routes or tournaments for teams to keep involved with UCS other than the qualifiers, a tier 2 league would be perfect (selfishly for myself too)
This esport has so much potential, nothing Pokemon does comes close to how suited for esports Pokemon Unite is. Team based games are the perfect fit for a successful esports franchises, I seriously hope Pokemon double down on this.
Again, HUGE congrats to all the teams who made it to the world championship.
@BH3_Esport
@KomaiEsport
@VolticonsUNITE
@TeamPepsMAX
You’ve made your region proud and we can’t wait to see you take on the world! 🫰
Where does "Strong basketball player 1" rank as a name in the pantheon of Worlds-qualified teams?
Because it's gotta be at least top 5, right?
