The UofL Creative Writing Program is excited to announce the results of the 2024 Calvino Prize in Fabulist Fiction, judged by Elizabeth Crane. The Winner is David Morse for his story “The Memoir” and the runner up is Kira Nolan’s “Kelp Forest Love Story.”

The Creative Writing Program is sponsoring the 2nd annual Poetry Carnival hosted by Sarabande Books. The free carnival starts at noon on Sept. 14 and will feature poet Paige Lewis. This is a great chance to get an inside look into a publisher’s offices.
