This isn't really an "apology" post but I do want to acknowledge that there are quite a few who follow this account for updates, not participation in the latest TC discourse.
It's not frequent but every few months some conversation blows up about TC.

Much of the crowd 'burned' by TC came from 40k Twitter, who want to slander the game.
As a fan I often feel like I should say something in support. But as an account that almost 2,000 users follow, I should show some more restraint and understanding of what people wanna see.

The fact that people think being in a fandom that has awful content in its universe is permission to BE awful explains a lot about how these kinds of people think.
Still blows my mind that someone made a setting where Christianity is fighting the forces of Hell in brutal trench warfare, then threw a tantrum that it was attracting edgy Christians.
That's like making a game about sexualized, anthropomorphic animals and then getting mad that Furries show up in droves. Who the fuck did you think the audience would be?

More somber news today.
John Blanche, the grandfather of the Grimdark style has passed away. He is one of the largest influences in my painting style.
This Trench Crusade model I painted a bit ago is all done in his color set from Army Painter.
The Bell of Lost Souls tolls once more.
