The greatest misstep in the NRLs modern regime was their digital/data strategy. I've maintained this for years.
The NBA - and I don't know the exact details - does not strike down edits/YT videos which have seen the product explode. NRL is lagging and its embarrassing.
The NRL would never, ever allow their content to be let off the leash like this.
They should, but they won't.
P.s. The NBA and F1 publish stats and let a thousand analytics accounts bloom, the NRL do anything to avoid independent creators doing anything with their data.
