Stateside Adventure: California 2025 The Expanded Core Services Team traveled to San Francisco California for our Stateside Adventure travel program this year.  Three students attended classes to learn how to apply Expanded Core Skills to plan a trip. #weareusdb

Wasatch Adaptive Sports recently visited the Springville campus, giving students who are blind or have low vision the exciting opportunity to experience bike riding. They brought various adaptive bikes, so every student could participate in a way that best suited their needs.

The Utah School of the Deaf is celebrating the middle school robotics team, the USD Baby Eagles. Malika Grossinger, Lucy Dietz, and Benson Butler returned from the VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas with a major honor: the Sportsmanship Award in the Design Division!

In the Cache School District, Trexdon and Kaite are 6th grade students at Heritage Elementary School. They receive support and resources from the Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind. The Essential Elements teacher Ms. Tyler has implemented a new program in the school.

The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium came to visit the middle school at Kenneth Burdett School of the Deaf on the Ogden campus this past week. Students had the chance to meet Miss America, the ball python, and a tortoise named Tortellini.
