H-1B visa program is undermining those graduating from college right now. Our kids and grandkids need to take priority over foreign workers.
From Phil Lyman "Utah graduates are some of the hardest-working, most capable young people in the country. They come out of our universities ready to build careers here at home. Too often, they are passed over, not because they fall short, but because corporations prefer to import cheap foreign labor rather than to hire and train Americans.
That is what the H-1B visa program has become.
The program was sold as a way to fill specialized jobs that no American could do. That was never really true. A former U.S. diplomat assigned to Chennai, India told Newsweek in December that 80 to 90 percent of the 51,000 H-1B applications she adjudicated involved fraudulent documents or unqualified applicants."
