The Winnipeg Jets and True North Sports Entertainment are tremendously saddened by this morning’s news of the passing of former Winnipeg Jet Troy Murray. As captain of the team, Troy was a tremendous leader both on and off the ice. This is a difficult loss for many members of our current organization who have maintained close relationships with Troy over the years. We extend our deepest condolences to all of Troy’s friend and family across the National Hockey League.
