A blog with our key learnings is coming soon. Watch this space. 👀 📢 Bexley residents, we are bringing this to you on Sunday 22 June.🔗eventbrite.co.uk/e/your-voic… #Greenwich #MentalHealth #AsianCommunities #NHS #HealthEquality

Introducing our first keynote speaker! 💜✨📣 Riyadul Karim is Assistant Director of Community Engagement and Vaccine & Screening Equity at NHS England (London Region). In his current role, Riyad has established Vaccination and Screening Groups and is supporting their evolution into Community Health Equity Forums, bringing together the NHS, local authorities, VCSE organisations, faith institutions and community networks to tackle health inequalities and engage underserved communities in a more relational, sustained and trusted way. Riyad is the founder of the 3Ts model: Trusted Leaders, Trusted Places and Trusted Voices. The 3Ts is a practical framework for culturally intelligent, community-led engagement that moves public health beyond generic outreach and into sustained partnership. Systemic and racial inequalities mean that ethnic minorities are far more likely to experience homelessness. To make housing more equitable, we first have to recognise the barriers that some communities may face. Our Housing Toolkit outlines the realities of the current housing landscape, the policies shaping it, and the impacts on Black and Minoritised Ethnic communities. You can read more about our work and download the Housing Toolkit here: voice4change-england.org/hou…
