Thinking about swear words on @gcntweet, & post-rider interviews, @mcewenrobbie, @SportsOrla, I wonder if it's a lost in translation thing. EG, in Germany the word "scheisse" is used the way Americans use "damn." More of a mild swear that's more acceptable in polite conversation.

Checking out Silo on @AppleTV thanks to a @VanityFair article by @moryan. Starts strong, but it's like they got different writers for episodes 4 and 5? I also think Common is out of his depth--and there's A LOT of Common in the show. Compelling plot keeps me going.

OMG, I know the big climb is coming because professional bike racers are throwing away gel wrappers from their pockets on the beautiful roads of the Alps. C'mon guys, losing a bottle that is a souvenir for a fan is one thing...but gel wrappers? #Disappointed #TourDeFrance2023

Spot on his analysis of racing bikes on motor racing tracks by @mcewenrobbie during #TourDeFrance2023. I've raced bicycles at Laguna Seca, Road America and others. Lots of room, fast, safe turns...only thing is that they can be slippery even when dry.

Folks are excited about the new Integra Type S. But the mostly seem excited about more comfortable seats, and a softer suspension and that just makes me wonder, "well, couldn't the Civic Type R get comfortable seats and less stiff suspension for $7000 less?"

Two problems with #SecretInvasion movie, 1) I can't remember if the shape-shifting green characters are "good guys" or "bad guys" and 2) I'm not sure I want to watch a whole movie about Nick Fury? This seems like a movie I'm going to stream in 6 months when my wife goes out.

Update...seems it's a Disney show and not a movie after all. Okay, I'll probably check it out when it comes out. Although I wonder if I'll have the same problem with it that I did with Agents of Shield and Gotham. Namely I kept wanting/waiting for Avengers or Batman to show up.
