A thread 🧵on #HonkaiStarRail's "Aha Instant" SPD calc. Not a leak!
The image is a user-derived formula, because the game uses decimals not fractions.
If we used decimals it'd be:
80 (spd[1, 2, 3, 4...] * dec[0.2, 0.1, 0.05, 0.025...])
The big disclaimers here are~
SECOND) The formula is derived from the parameters that feed into the formula, being that they are ~ in order:
80, 0.2, 0.1, 0.05, 0.025, and 0.025 again.
THIRD) Given #2, a huge assumption is being made which you can figure since 0.025 shows twice:
MORE THAN 4 elation characters can feed into Aha's SPD, just limited to the same RATIO as the 4th character.
Can reasonably assume this is due to currency wars, or maybe future memos

And thus, I have constructed yet another game calc/optimizer, this time though for #HonkaiStarRail and it is the most disgustingly complicated calc project I've ever made.

There are times I think I'm starting to get the hang of coding, and then there are times like today where I make slight changes to my code so I can add something new and it results in like a 10% performance boost and yeah I just don't understand a fuckin thing I guess.
Forgot to mention here but given my radio silence on YT vids you prob figured that once again, have been working on YET ANOTHER soul-sucking, game calculator project.
Will explain in a vid later, but this one for #HonkaiStarRail is easily the most complicated calc/sim I've made.
