Great meeting at Synuclein 2025 — always inspiring science and community. Even better seeing my PhD students, Eden Yin and Kreesan Reddy shine in action! Also great to see all the CBR kiwis in Cambridge #Syn2025 #Synuclein2025

Round table at the Synuclein meeting in Cambridge with people with Parkinson’s on the first day. Great initiative from the organisers to give them a voice at this meeting. #Syn2025 #Parkinsons

Prof Glenda Halliday deserves a lot of credit on this one. Her pathological knowledge of the brain is beyond impressive!

Wiseman et al. provide evidence that the rapid neurodegeneration observed in MSA is driven by toxic α-synuclein fibrils invading neuronal nuclei. They propose redefining MSA as a neuronal nuclear and oligodendroglial α-synucleinopathy. tinyurl.com/4bxj9aj4

Nice recap
New paper from @JamesAWiseman @VDieriks et al uses multiplex immunohisto. to detect multiple structural domains of α-Syn proteoforms across multiple regions prone to pathological accumulation in MSA (n = 10) & #Parkinsons (n = 10); Very pretty pics! translationalneurodegenerati…
