House Republicans have proposed a new 23% national sales tax on American families, increasing the prices of everything from groceries and gas to food and medicine.
American families need more breathing room. Not less.

While the bill does institute a 23% national sales tax, it also eliminates the income tax, payroll tax, and estate tax. It also includes a number of refunds and credits in chapter 2, and further refunds and rebates for families in chapter 3.
