Veterans Memorial teachers v. students competition was a huge success today. Thank you to all the students who read during our Resolution Reading Challenge to read over 4,500 books/chapters. The students won in the end!

Veterans Memorial K-2 students enjoyed hearing from Sherri Duskey Rinker, author of Goodnight Goodnight Construction Site and 42 other children's books today. Sherri shared why she became an author and her love of writing books for her children.

It's time to PACK the BUS! Veterans Memorial is collecting GRANOLA BARS Oct. 6th-10th for our Homecoming week food drive! Every box counts, donations can be sent in with your student all next week. Thanks for helping us pack the bus!!
