Earlier this month, staff and students from our DHH class traveled to Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory presented in ASL. One of the students in the play was a former classmate! 1/

After the play students had a tour of the school and residences and were able to learn about the various classes at the school, the teams, and free time activities for the students who live on campus!

This was the first time on a train for most of our students, the first time at a Deaf school, seeing a play in ASL, and being immersed in a Deaf environment. Thank you so much to the Education Foundation for making this possible! What an amazing day! /3
