On this day 20 years ago (in the US), New Super Mario Bros. was released for the Nintendo DS and had a staggered launch across other regions. It would be followed up with NSMB Wii, Bros. 2 and Bros. U (as well as New Super Luigi U, and a Deluxe version on Switch).
