Lymphoblasts from ALS patients have been used as a cell model and we have been able to label key cytoplasmic proteins of the disease using different QDs.

In these experiments performed by immunofluorescence we were able to see differences between controls and patients. Because of this, a goal for the future is to be able to transfer these studies to the clinic and perform them on lymphocytes from patients.🔬💊🧫
