I mean proactive protagonists are one of the core tenets of good writing. Like proactive characters is writing 101. Robert always stood on business, was a great leader, had drive to improve the Z team far above Chase and BB, was striving to kill Shroud, etc.

Now you could make the argument that there’s something to dissect about the fact that in pop culture an ‘everyman’ is proactive while an ‘everywoman’ is reactive - but Robert is definitely not ‘barely anything’ lol.

His immediate rebuttal was ‘Here’s the actual facts about that apparent concern of yours and this is why you shouldn’t be worried’ and you immediately started SCREECHING and TYPING in ALL CAPS while CRYING over your phone screen - which goes to show maybe you are the problem.

If simply explaining the facts to you causes such a hostile response, then it becomes obvious that you perceive facts and reality itself as a personal attack. No amount of Gentle Parenting for Retards and explaining reality is going to fix that fundamental brain disease.
