She was recruited with promises of long-term stability, meaningful work on U.S. justice projects, and a workplace where family values and loyalty were deeply respected. She was assured there was no need to worry about leaving her pension and retirement behind. That this would be her dream job. But within just five weeks before she was even given a defined role her contract was abruptly terminated. No assignments. No explanation. No chance to contribute. She was disposed. The emotional, financial and career impact on her has been profound. A mother, provider, and public servant suddenly found herself without income, without a job without retirement, and without the career she had dedicated her life to. Her children, life, and her sense of stability were all shattered. This isn’t just a professional misstep. It’s a life altering betrayal by Norr to its employees that has left a real family struggling and deeply hurting.
