SOLDIERS OF THE EMPIRE!Tune in for as I review a classic! It's am older film but it checks out, I'm taking an awful risk... this had better work 😉 #RobinHoodyoutu.be/zeVpwA03Oco?is=HanA…
I had the Fisher Price Castle as a kid. Robin Hood and Knights were the pinnacle of my imagination. Imagine my excitement when I got a Robin Hood kidsmeal toy ( I think from Burger King???) And Finally had a Robin Hood to sneak into the castle.
I had a bunch of other kidsmeal toys, of bugs bunny and other animal cartoon characters. So I drew little paper Robin Hood hats, tunics, and capes for my other figures and taped them on so Robin could have his Merry Men.
I miss movies with the vibe of Wargames, Short Circuit, and Innerspace. Those fun, cheesy, 80s, science based comedy films. They had a fun tone modern films just don’t have.
Hot Take #2 I've never cared for X-men aside from Wolverine. And I think it completely fails as a metaphor for prejudice. Because there are legitimate reasons to fear teenage mutants that can bend reality, or burn a city down if they get too emotional.
