It’s been a couple of days since the release of our game Salmon Man. And honestly, having the game finally in the hands of players is the best feeling.😊 But it’s not always stress free. We kind of expected a love hate relationship with the game since it’s quite challenging, and we weren’t too sure how that would reflect in the reviews. Turns out people really seem to love the idea! More importantly, I learned that one thing is inevitable… bugs! • Some players were falling under the map when trying to recenter • The duck was swimming upstream • The worst: we accidentally left a debugging tool in the game that allowed players to teleport Finally, a lot of players asked why we only had snap turn and not smooth turn. So we decided to react quickly! Today, we’re pushing our very first update, fixing all of these issues. And of course, this is just the beginning. In 24 hours, my VR platformer game Salmon Man will be released. For a long time, it was abandoned, left as a fun prototype sitting on my computer. Until I realized that if I ever wanted to actually play this game, I had to finish it. And look at the journey since then. We are working on the achievements of our VR rage game, and here is one of my favourites, where you can make mama duck smile again by reuniting her with her duckling. On top of this, we are of course adding challenges like beating the game in under a certain time (20 minutes), hitting 10,000 objects, never touching the water, etc. But what should I do next?
