The Arab identity is so blown out of proportions on twitter tbh.
It’s not that deep.
Anyhow, there was no Arab identity before the 1800s, there was an Islamic identity and an Ottoman identity. And the Arab identity was actually Michel Aflaq, Jurji Zaidan before who were christian Lebanese/Syrian philosophers to create a linguistic based united front that unites both Muslims and Christians in the region against colonialists.
It was never supported by the gulf, it was never the work of “colonialists”
It was de-colonial. And this is documented history.
No one in Egypt ever used the Arab label to imply they originate from Arabia. And Arab in the peninsular understanding is patrilineal(نسب) any way.
You can stop calling it pan-Arabism, frankly what label we use is so irrelevant in my view.
But we still do have bigger fish to fry and need some sort of unity because Israel still exists and is still very much expansionist.
And isolationism is more stupid than getting bugged down such rabbit hole. Everyone just identify however and get over it.

Egypt is already resisting, why would ANY egyptian dying better than our hard earned peace?
Egypt deals with the evil agendas its way (politically, using GIS & diplomatically) , & not everything is by going to war, we already did that enough times & did our part in 56, 67, & 73

البنوتة دي اسمها ريتشل من إنجلترا، بتتكلم عن حياتها وإزاي اتنقلت من مكان لمكان، منهم دول زي إسبانيا وغيرها، لحد ما راحت ليبيا ومنها زارت مصر لأول مرة. بتقول إنها ماعجبتهاش مصر في البداية، وبعدين جالها فرصة تشتغل في دبي قعدت فيها فترة وكانت مبسوطة جداً بالحياة هناك والرفاهية، لكن دايماً كانت حاسة إن فيه حاجة ناقصة في حياتها.
رجعت مصر تاني سياحة وعجبها البحر الأحمر والدايفينج، وبعدين راحت بالي غيرت شغلها واتعلمت هناك اليوجا، بس ما حستش بنفسها في الموضوع ده. رجعت خدت كورسات في "الفري دايفينج" واكتشفت إن أكبر كوميونيتي في العالم موجود في مصر، فرجعت مصر تاني.
بدأت تحس إن مصر كانت كل شوية بتشدها أكتر لحد ما اكتشفت إن اللي كان ناقصها هو إنها تعيش في مصر. وقالت إنها وقعت في غرام مصر سنة ورا تانية، لحد ما بدأت تحب تتعلم عن الناس وعن واللسان المصري وتزور كل المناطق، لدرجة إنها سمت نفسها " رايتشل المصرية" والأكاونت بتاعها كله بقى في حب مصر. 🇪🇬❤️
