The WOAH Regional Commission for Europe met today in Paris as part of the 93rd General Session
#WOAHGS, bringing together delegates from across the region to advance shared animal health priorities. This meeting continued the constructive virtual session held on 7 May, which covered preparations for the 32nd Regional Conference in Riga, technical and strategic topics, and regional coordination.

@BudimirPlavsic, WOAH Regional Representative for Europe, highlighted the importance of maintaining a strong, coordinated and constructive regional voice during the General Session. "Europe is a diverse region, but we share many common priorities, and our strength comes from our ability to exchange openly, coordinate effectively and contribute actively to WOAH’s work," said Dr Plavsic.
He also stressed the importance of turning these discussions into practical regional coordination, stronger engagement of Members, and clear follow-up through the Regional Commission, the RCG and WOAH’s subregional mechanisms.
