The ClusterCluck Drive is lit and alive. Been working flawlessly in my front yard autonomously moving the ClusterCluck Pico for the last 2 weeks. Put your deposit down to reserve a spot in for limited 2027 production run today. Because Protein Sovereignty shouldn’t be a pain. thestockcropper.com @stockcropper

I was just telling a friend that I think religious wars are highly likely in the near term. I also think we will see a rapid increase in Charismatic Christianity in the US. He completely disagreed.

This was a very good @vancecrowe podcast. Lots of things that have been in my reading pattern lately, from Aristotle to AI to what makes us human. You can hear the influence of Aquinas thru the ages. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…

The Disney version of the animated little mermaid is a total perversion of the lessons in the original. The book is about giving up one’s innocence, the sacrifice of your family to get you back and the price you will pay for your poor choices. Disney turned it into a coming of age, cotton candy romance where the father is at fault for his not understanding her young love. Her sacrifice is meaningless and she gets the boy. The Anderson version- she stands at the bedside of a man who married another woman, she has to kill one of them with a knife.

4 years ago I did a podcast on Alpha Gal- people told me these were frauds and now it is being talked about by the government. This is a fucked up disease.
RFK Jr. says HHS is working to find a cure for Alpha Gal. The tick disease that can make you allergic to red meat for life. “One bite from a lone star tick, and you could have a lifetime allergy to red meat.” “50% of the population of Martha’s Vineyard now has alpha gal.” “We’re also working on medicines that can prevent Alpha Gal and have the promise of actually curing it.” “One of those medicines is almost ready.” “We’re fast tracking it.” “We’re doing the studies over the next two years to see if we can actually reverse this devastating disease.”

In the words of @VanceCrowe “Death clarifies some shit” I lost my dad when I was younger, and I think it changed how I look at the world I think my fascination with relay cropping is the time aspect of it. You’re always spending time, but you have to make time in life for what matters to you. Time is all we get. The other clarification with death is you only have 1 life. Make the most of it. You appreciate the uniqueness of individuals. Many times what made them a little different is what made you remember them. Focusing on 1. 1 plant. See things in the lens of other living things.

This person is running on a platform that older people should get 100% of the upside of inflation (asset price increase) and the entire burden be shifted to those trying to raise families or just get started. Politicians always take from the unallied and give to the powerful
Our seniors should not pay property taxes.

I think people are seeing the proof of work. They can go to the other ecosystems we’ve created and see how we designed them. They are seeing our reputation, our involvement in the community, and our ability to make things happen. We have taken a very different approach than I normally see in “regenerative” or conventional ag. We aren’t afraid to tear up a property because we do it in a way that it comes back even better. We decided to put a lot of money into excavation equipment which is not something usually seen in regen circles and we have to do a lot of outside work to support owning that equipment. We are on year three of growth on this front and this is the first year we have a possibility of turning a profit. We took a big educated gamble two years ago that things were going to line up to get cattle prices to where they are today, and if they hadn’t, it would have been bad. There’s a lot more reasons, but I think that’s the main ones. Self promotion, marketing, and reputation is under appreciated in ag.

This would be good for everyone.
The EPA said Tuesday it plans to eliminate #diesel #emissions requirements for #farm equipment, arguing the move will reduce costs and mechanical burdens for farmers already grappling with high input prices and economic strain. washingtonexaminer.com/polic…

Another farm that got offered to us because they wanted to see cattle on it. We frequently have opportunities to sign long term leases in exchange for using our equipment to do some brush clean up and fixing fence. Tillable row crop acres going back into grazing annuals.
