Can we address how new teachers are hired and don’t get a paycheck until 6 weeks or more after being required to start work? Food, gas, decorating a classroom, and attending in services are all done with no School income. How are we helping the profession with this setup again?

Just submitted my last assignment of the term. This means I am done with my first year of PhD classes. Not a joke of the day, just thankful my family is patient while I pursue this dream! Merry Christmas everyone!
