In Oothukkadu,a micro interior village near Kumbakonam,Tamilnadu,I met this old Pandit ji( Kurukkal). People who visit Oothukkadu Sri Krishnar Koil don't even visit this Siva temple which is just 200 feet away. Kurukkal is a Widower,aged 75. Son,Ashok (42),bachelor..continuing his father's noble profession,Temple Kaingaryam in Kumkuma Nayaki Samedha Sri Kailasanathar Temple,Oothukkadu. Father and son live in a 15x10 room doing self cooking. Father resting at home in a chair suffering from breathlessness and ( Inguinal) hernia. Like an old sparrow,perched onto a branch of an old tree,unable to take up any more flight,due to old age and fatigue,after spending its life time,awaiting its end,Kirubasankaran Jagadeesan,also awaiting help to pull on his life with his son. No income... other than 10 rupees and 20 rupees,daily. He has a button phone. Both son and father are very soft spoken,god fearing and very loving. Met him in his house and clicked this picture. Expenses are mounting up..3.25L minimum for any suregery and Miscellaneous expenses. Kindly help. My humble advise to @asuvathaman as a neutral observer, when it comes to BJP & ex-BJP members, that while it was ok to flag anti Modi/BJP rhetoric from a “perceived” Annamalai party platform and basis your alert Mr. Rajnikanth did quickly distance himself from that platform… BJP’s focus must be on taking on TVK/DMK govt as they are committing one mistake after the other so early in their tenure… My few key pointers to you: 1. Just forget Annamalai, leave him alone. He parted ways most graciously and amicably. He is not your enemy. (learn “shatrubodh”) 2. Take TVK head on, on his inactivity on corruption of DMK, its constant unnecessary rant against central govt/Modi, following DMK policies and tactics. In short, TVK=DMK 3. Expose Vijay as a mere puppet in the hands of DMK, lottery king & Congress. Expose him as Manmohan Singh of TN. Expose Aadhav Arjuna and the coterie around Vijay which is running the govt. Don’t give Vijay/TVK/DMK/Cong any breathing space in the name of honeymoon period. When you get a juicy full toss, you simply hit it for four or a six, even if it is in the first over of a test match!! EPS and his ecosystem of political commentators/analysts/pollsters want you to keep fighting Annamalai thus draining your energy, sparing the Dravida stock. Don’t play into their hands. They have already crippled BJP, don’t allow them to harm it any further!
