"Clocking" and it's him undervaluing Varka's hard work in the office & the effort it took him to get to where he is today. Varka takes on an unreasonable amount of desk work for someone who didn't sign up for or get the opportunity to study for that part of the Grand Master role.

Overall a good thread, with one small flaw that is already pointed out in the comments, but he's NOT a slacker even when it comes to paperwork. He's just okay with putting things off for a while until they actually NEED to be done. & Sometimes the workload goes overboard.

It goes to show just great of a character Varka is when his sales manage to match/surpass those of the most meta-relevant characters around. This isn't to say they aren't great characters, but his personality and looks alone made this happen. It sure wasn't his meta hype. Sadly.
