I saw a video a few days ago, and surprisingly, a lot of people didn't find it funny. Me? I actually did. 😭 It was about a bride who was crying uncontrollably on the morning of her wedding. People were begging her to calm down friends, family, everybody. But she just kept crying. Why? Because her wedding dress wasn't ready. The designer hadn't brought it, she hadn't seen it, and she didn't even know if it was going to fit. That was the reason she was crying. And I was like... wait o. You're getting married and your dress isn't ready? Let's say 5 months before the wedding is too early to expect it. Fine. What about 3 months? Okay, maybe that's still too early for some people. But one month to your wedding and your dress still isn't ready? And you're calm about it? What the fuck? 😭 The thing is, I'm a designer, so I sew my own clothes. But even if I wasn't a designer and I wanted to get married, there's no way my dress wouldn't be ready a month before the wedding. Me, my asoebi ladies, my chief bridesmaids, everybody would be in that designer's shop. 😭 Because that's my wedding dress! I'm supposed to have seen it multiple times. Tried it on. Walked in it. Sat in it. Danced in it. Made sure everything was perfect. You think I'll just sit down and be okay waiting till my wedding morning? Impossible. I don't care if the designer has been making my clothes for years. As long as I've made full payment, I'm supposed to have collected the dress already. And even if you trust your designer completely and she promises to bring it on the morning of your wedding, what happens if she actually brings it and it doesn't fit? What if it needs adjustments?
