On a lighter note: If you're looking for some good new music to enjoy, may I recommend Ari Mason (@AriMasonMusic) -- an under-recognized singer-songwriter & viola da gamba player who records, produces, and mixes all her own work. She also does a lot of vocal work for movies, TV, and video games. I'd especially recommend her albums Creatures (2016) The Vault (2018) Oracle (2020) Prodrome (2022) And there's her album of Renaissance motets, Musica Lunae, sung in Latin. (All available on Spotify, YouTube, Songwhip, etc). Good for dancing, or date night, or just listening while driving around.
