An awesome alternate black-armoured Mortarion we absolutely loved painting for our clients collection. The deep obsidian black armour, accented with rich reds, created an incredible contrast and made the cloth details stand out beautifully. To balance the dark tones, our client opted for bright, cold white wings which framed the model perfectly. All the trim, brass, and metal areas were painted using non-metallic metal techniques, giving each material its own distinct character and depth. The piece was completed with a cold Arctic-themed base, amplifying Mortarion’s eerie and insidious presence. I ran out of yellow and have to wait for more to come (this week), but at least this @Anycubic green PLA is much better. So, while I’m waiting on filament, I’ll print the two halves of the Majora’s Mask face; I have plenty of those four colors, and at almost 44 hours, it’ll keep mt @snapmaker #U1 busy.🤣

I’m thinking this @snapmaker Moss Mist matte PLA may be a bit too light to use on Majora’s Mask… In all fairness it looked darker on the Website. This is why I wish all filament manufacturers would put Hex color codes on their sites.
